31/10/17 Wheat: From Farm to Table

The 2017 wheat harvest is in, cleaned and we’ve been enjoying testing it out. We’re working to get it on the shop shelves shortly! Follow the wheat’s journey from farm to table below.

Results from our test bake with our wholemeal Skyfall wheat were very encouraging. Not too dense, a great flavour and the final test – the sourdough loaf was demolished by the Transition Town Totnes team before lunchtime! Now imagine what the professional bakers will do with it!
